Terms of Participation
Effective: August 17, 2026
Summary: Joining BuyQuor is non-binding. No carrier offer currently exists. BuyQuor does not guarantee savings, carrier participation, or any specific outcome. You are free to decline any future offer. Illustrative savings calculations are estimates only.
1. What BuyQuor is
BuyQuor is a demand-aggregation service. By joining The 10,000 Switch, you add your represented wireless lines to a collective pool that BuyQuor may use to negotiate improved wireless plan terms with Canadian carriers. Participation does not create any obligation on your part to switch carriers.
2. Joining is non-binding
Joining BuyQuor and completing the participant assessment is entirely non-binding. You are under no obligation to switch carriers, accept any offer, or take any action as a result of your participation. You may withdraw your participation at any time by contacting hello@buyquor.ca.
3. No carrier offer currently exists
As of the effective date of these Terms, no wireless carrier has agreed to participate in BuyQuor, and no offer has been negotiated or secured. BuyQuor makes no representations that any offer will be obtained. The goal of The 10,000 Switch is to demonstrate sufficient collective demand to initiate carrier negotiations — not to guarantee an outcome.
4. BuyQuor does not guarantee savings
BuyQuor does not guarantee that you will save money on wireless service. Any savings realized would depend on: the terms of any future negotiated offer, your current plan costs, the carrier that agrees to participate, and your individual circumstances.
5. Illustrative calculations are estimates only
The economics calculations shown during the join flow (annual spend, illustrative savings) are based entirely on your self-reported monthly cost and household line count. They are illustrative only — calculated using a hypothetical $40/line/month reference price — and do not represent any actual or negotiated offer. Results will vary.
6. BuyQuor does not perform port transfers
BuyQuor does not currently perform wireless number port transfers. Porting a wireless number is the responsibility of the participant and the receiving carrier. BuyQuor collects porting preference data only for the purpose of understanding participant readiness.
7. Consumer choice
If and when BuyQuor presents a qualifying offer, you retain full choice over whether to accept or decline. BuyQuor will not make decisions on your behalf. Any switching decision remains entirely yours.
8. Verified Lines
"Verified Lines" are wireless lines declared by BuyQuor participants who have completed our email verification process. BuyQuor has not independently verified ownership of each individual phone number. The Quorum counter reflects participant-declared and email-verified participation.
9. Accurate information
By participating, you agree to provide honest estimates of your wireless household information. You agree not to submit false data, inflate line counts, or attempt to manipulate the Quorum counter. Duplicate submissions with the same email address are prevented; intentional manipulation may result in removal from the campaign.
10. Privacy
Your participation is subject to our Privacy Policy. Aggregate, anonymized data from participants may be used in campaign materials and shared with potential carrier partners. No individual identifying information will be shared without your explicit consent.
11. Changes to terms
BuyQuor may update these Terms as the campaign evolves. Material changes will be communicated to verified participants by email. Continued participation after notice constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
